“St. Cyril and Methodius” primary school was built in 1974. It is located in the central city area. Within the parent school there are two remote school units. According to the organization of the work, the school has 36 classes from first to nineth grade in the parent school, 9 classes in the village of Gorni Podlog and three in the village of Beli, two of which are combined classes. A total of 952 students are enrolled this year.

In the past few years, the school has been continuously renovated. The floor and the doors in all of the classrooms have been completely changed, new chairs and desks for each classroom have also been provided etc. With the aim of enhancing the quality of learning and updating of the educational process interactive white boards and learning and teaching support materials have been provided.
